SD57 Precinct Caucuses

Be part of our democracy at the grassroots level at the SD57 Caucus on February 3rd, 2026 at Lakeville South High School from 6pm-9pm. Anyone who considers themselves a Democrat is welcome to participate in the Statewide Precinct Caucuses.
A caucus is a gathering of neighbors to discuss issues and organize the local DFL party unit. All parties have their caucuses on the same night, and the next statewide precinct caucus date is February 3, 2026. Each of DFL57’s 24 precincts will elect a Precinct Chair and Vice Chair to a two year term. These positions are also voting members in the DFL57 Central Committee. additionally, one of the important tasks that each caucus meeting will be considering resolutions to update our party platform. If there is an issue you are passionate about you can propose items for inclusion in the platform. To do that you will need to fill out this resolution form and bring it on Caucus Night (there will also be blank forms available at the caucus).
We will be serving complimentary sandwiches from 6:00pm-6:30pm
Fill out this form if you are committing to caucus on February 3rd.
