It’s time to elect two fresh voices to advocate for the Lakeville area in the state legislature.
Leaders who will work to build consensus, listen to everyone they represent, and bring us all together.
As luck would have it, we have two strong, pragmatic candidates in the race with extensive experience in education and running businesses, both of which are especially vital to our community.
- Veda Kanitz is running in 57A, which also includes her area of New Market Township. She is a retired teacher of 44 years and has been active in battling for a clean and reliable water supply.
- Brian Cohn is running in 57B, the northern part of Lakeville. He’s a local business man, product manager and a longtime leader in Minnesota’s Masters swimming community
