Resolutions: A list of resolutions that were adopted at precinct caucuses. You will review and vote on these at the convention too. Up to 32 resolutions will be adopted and sent on to the state.

You are encouraged to stay involved in the senate district beyond the convention by running for one of our open leadership positions. Please Click here to fill out the nomination form if you would like to run for one of the positions listed below.

11 senate district directors to two year terms on the SD57 Executive Committee
4 delegates and 6 alternates to the State Central Committee (SCC) for two years
Treasurer and data and technology officer, both one year positions to be vacated by Brian Cohn on March 14, serve on the SD57 Executive Committee

We will also hold elections to fill precinct officer positions in Credit River 2, Lakeville 8, Lakeville 10, and Lakeville 17. You do not need to fill out the nomination form to run for precinct officer. Precinct officers are members of the SD57 Central Committee.

Delegates will also vote on the following:

  • Endorse candidates for the Minnesota House and Senate
  • Elect 16 delegates and 16 alternates to represent us at both the CD2 and state conventions

Please note: Due to the large number of delegates to this year’s convention, it is likely we will be using the Walking Subcaucus process to select the 16 delegates and 16 alternates to go on to the next convention. Details will be provided. You can learn about the Walking Subcaucus process by viewing this short video.

Lunch

It is likely that the convention will run past lunch time. We will have Erbert and Gerbert sandwiches, chips, cookies, and beverages available for a donation. You are also welcome to bring your own food.

There will be a 15 minute prayer break at 1:30 p.m. if we are still in session.

We look forward to seeing you on the 14th and beyond! Thank you for taking time away from your Saturday to help us protect our democracy and make it work for the people of our great state!
